Do you want a coordinating key role where you help create sustainable and technically sound solutions in community-critical construction projects?

Do you thrive in a role with many contact points where you contribute to the overall functioning? Then the role of Installation Manager at NCC could be the next step for you.

With us, you will have a central position in the projects and work closely with both colleagues and partners to develop the technical installation solutions of the future – from early stages to completed buildings.

The Role of Installation Manager
In the role of Installation Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating installations throughout the project, both in the design and production phases. You will work closely with project management, design, production, and installers to ensure that different installation systems work together as a whole. You will contribute in the bidding and design phases, follow up on costs and calculations related to installations, and help drive solutions that are technically feasible, buildable, and sustainable over time. You will also actively contribute in the after-sales phase, for example, in warranty matters and energy monitoring.

The role involves a coordinating responsibility for installation issues in the project where your leadership, structure, and communication skills are crucial for success.

We are looking for someone who has a keen eye for both technology and cost-effective solutions, and who thrives in a role where collaboration, problem-solving, and a holistic perspective are essential.

About the Building Department Örebro/Värmland
The Örebro/Värmland Department is a strong and established player in the market, especially when it comes to large and complex construction projects with high safety requirements. We are currently working on several projects, including Nobelbadet and Skebäck Health Center.

With us, you will have a varied and developing everyday life. Within our geographical area, we manage a broad mix of projects – from housing and offices to industrial premises, schools, swimming pools, hospitals, and security-classified buildings for both private and public clients.

We are local and have a large mandate within the department, while also having a large organization behind us where we benefit from all of NCC's expertise. It is reassuring to know that a lot of consolidated competence is close at hand.

Your Profile as Installation Manager
We are looking for someone with experience as an installation manager or from a similar coordinating role, such as a consultant, contractor, or project manager. You have knowledge in one or more installation areas, such as HVAC, control, ventilation, or electrical, and a genuine interest in installation issues. Experience from the construction industry is an advantage.

You have preferably worked with coordination in projects and have a good understanding of cost-effective solutions and cost control.

As a person, you are communicative, structured, and solution-oriented, with the ability to work independently as well as together with others. You can see the whole picture in complex projects where many specialists and interests meet, and you contribute to ensuring that the end product is of high quality and that the installation solutions are sustainable from both a climate and long-term perspective.

Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities and your ability to collaborate.

Additional Information
The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period, and is based at our office in Karlstad or Örebro. You will work on projects throughout the department's geography, which is why a driver's license B is required.
This position will be background checked in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
